Week 4 11/13/11


During my final observation I began to identify some of the many organisms that I had previously seen in the aquarium.  In figure 1 you see Cyclidium sp. (Patterson, Free Living Fresh Water Protozoa A Colour Guide , 1996). Next identified was Euchlanis sp. (Pennak, 1989) as seen in figure 2.The third Organinsm th I found you will find in figure 3. It is a Cyclopoid sp. (Smith, 2001). Which I believe was the first organism that I saw on the day my micro-aquarium was made. The final orgainsm identified was the Litonotus sp. (Patterson, Free Living Fresh Water Prototozoa A Colour Guide, 1992) seen in figure 4.
